Flourish Wealth Management Adds Retirement Services Offering

By Kathleen Longo on March 9, 2016

It is hard to believe that Flourish Wealth Management is preparing to celebrate our 2nd Anniversary in mid-April. The past two years have been an amazing personal and professional journey. We have been blessed to maintain and establish many wonderful relationships with our clients.  Our team comes to the office on a daily basis energized at the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients.  This has also been a period of wonderful growth for the firm in terms of clients, resources, and office space.

Along the lines of growth and expansion, I am proud to announce that Flourish is launching a new growth opportunity with the addition of Jay Pluimer as Director of Retirement Services.  Jay is my husband and he brings over 20 years of investment experience to the firm, combining a background in consulting and business development.  The Retirement Services offering is devoted to working with local companies on their retirement plans (i.e., 401k, 403b, Cash Balance Plans, etc.), and leverages the resources of BAM Advisors which works with 300+ retirement plans across the country representing over $1.8 billion in retirement assets.  This will be a separate but complementary business for Flourish, and reflects our personal history going back to when Jay and I met at an investment class over 15 years ago; during that time I have always worked with individuals on their wealth and financial planning needs while Jay has worked with institutions. I am excit ed about this opportunity to bring our separate universes together under one roof.  You can find additional information about Jay’s background here, along with details about the Retirement Services offering here.

We are excited about the opportunity to have a positive influence on the wealth management goals of many more people through the addition of the Retirement Services business.  This also allows our wealth management team to remain focused on delivering individualized solutions and services for our clients while we continue to grow the business.  Hopefully you will join me in welcoming Jay to the team at Flourish Wealth Management!
