As the snow melts and signs of spring start to bloom, we’re reminded of the fresh opportunities this season can bring—not only for our gardens but also for our financial lives. At Flourish, we’re embracing this season of renewal with a focus on clarity, growth, and purpose.

This quarter, we’re excited to spotlight our colleague Grant Schaffer, who brings both heart and expertise to his volunteer work with Helping Paws, an organization that trains assistance dogs for individuals with disabilities. Grant serves on the Helping Paws Finance Committee, lending his investment and planning expertise to help guide the organization’s long-term sustainability. Outside of committee meetings (held virtually), he’s also helping his dog Phyllis train for her Canine Good Citizen certification—a big step toward becoming a therapy dog. We’re inspired by Grant’s commitment to making a difference, both at work and in the community.

April is Financial Literacy Month, and our featured article, “Financial Literacy Month: Tips to Strengthen Your Money Mindset,” is designed to help you develop healthy financial habits, build confidence, and approach your financial journey with intention. Whether you’re planning your next big milestone or simply want to feel more empowered in your day-to-day decisions, we hope you’ll find actionable insights in this quarter’s piece.

Finally, our Director of Investments, Jay Pluimer, shares his perspective in the latest market commentary, including how shifting tariffs and recent market swings are influencing the broader economic picture. Jay’s analysis will help you better understand the forces at play and how we continue to navigate them with your long-term success in mind.

We hope you enjoy this edition of our quarterly newsletter and wish you a season filled with momentum and meaning.
