Joseph (Joey) Fenwick, CPA

He joined Flourish in 2020 because of his long-standing desire to work with clients in a truly holistic way—looking beyond individual accounts, investments, or tax strategies to understand the full picture of each client’s life, values, goals, and opportunities. Before joining Flourish, Joey worked with individuals and business owners on tax planning, implementation, and cash flow management. That experience continues to shape the way he serves clients today. He understands that financial decisions rarely happen in isolation, and he enjoys helping clients evaluate trade-offs, identify opportunities, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Joey believes that meaningful financial planning begins with curiosity. He enjoys asking thoughtful questions, listening carefully, and helping clients connect the many moving pieces of their financial lives, including cash flow, taxes, investments, retirement planning, estate planning, charitable giving, risk management, and family priorities. His goal is to make complex financial decisions feel more approachable, organized, and aligned with what matters most to each client.

For Joey, the most rewarding part of wealth management is being involved in the broader story of a client’s life. Whether clients are preparing for retirement, navigating a major transition, building wealth, supporting family, or trying to make more intentional decisions with their resources, Joey values the opportunity to serve as a trusted guide along the way.

Joey grew up in Anoka, Minnesota, where he currently lives with his wife, Liz, and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching and playing sports with his kids, going on walks, and traveling to the North Shore of Minnesota.
